After you have breakfast we pick up you from your hotel and we start our tour with Mazi Underground City. Mazi underground city has been carved west perpendicular slope of the village into the valley. Detected in 4 different locations input, main entrance hall is built with irregular stones. Big circular stone in the short corridor for control input /output of the underground city. Our second stop is Orthahisar Castle after underground city. The fortress, towering above the town of Ortahisar, is one of its biggest tourist attractions. It was opened to the public in 2013 after extensive renovations. While it is less well known than its famous counterpart from Üçhisar, the travellers who make an effort of climbing to the summit will be amply rewarded by the stunning views from the peak. The panorama of the valley of Hallacdere - the fairy chimneys valley, and the majestic, snowcapped volcano Erciyes, looming on the horizon, make the biggest impression on the visitors. Next stop is Mustafapasa Village. The village of Mustafapaşa (formerly known as Sinasos), situated 6 km to the south of Ürgüp, is one of the nicest villages in Cappadocia. In the last century it was the centre of Cappadocia and rich Ottomans built their splendid mansions here. The whole village consists of such mansions and they are all built from square stone blocks of tufa. There are wonderful wall paintings and dainty relief works inside the mansions. Next one is Keslik Monastery. Keşlik monastery is located close to Mustafapaşa. The monastery was built in volcanic tuff stone and used in the Byzantine era until the end of the Ottoman Empire in the 1920s. Hollowed out in the 13th century, Keşlik monastery, also known as the Monastery of Archangels, has retained two churches and its refectory. We are now going to Sobessos Antique City. Sobesos Ancient City in Sahinefendi Village is located quite remote to the main sights in Cappadocia en route to Soganli Valley. The ancient city was discovered by some treasure-hunters working in the elds in 2002. Today, you can see the only Roman Ancient City in Cappadocia with the help of researches and excavations. The archeologists have uncovered the Roman Bath Section, Agora, The Basilica and The Bouleterion buildings. Soğanlı is about 36 km south of Mustafapaşa, with interesting hiking trails, several old churches and pigeon houses inside the rocks in two valleys. You can have fun exploring the area on your own and getting off the beaten track. There also used to be a traditional Turkish village at Soğanlı, with people living as they had been for centuries, but unfortunately this village was closed in 2011 by authorities. Due to erosion it was considered too dangerous and currently the authorities are planning to turn the old village into a conservation area. Our tour nish after Soganli Valley and we take you to your hotels.
